A Parenting Time Evaluation is a court-ordered evaluation either during the initial divorce proceedings, or when one or both parents seek to modify the amount of time they spend with their children. The goals of this type of evaluation are to protect the best interests of the child or children, to promote dispute resolution through agreement rather than litigation, and to present the Court with a written report (when dispute resolution is not possible) to assist the Court in making custody decisions and parenting time arrangements that are in the child or children’s best interest.
If you are in the process of seeking out an evaluator for a Parenting Time Evaluation or Brief Focused Assessment, We are happy to answer any questions regarding our services. We do not conduct any evaluation services without a court order assigning one of our staff as the evaluator.
